The term"on-demand workplace" refers to a flexible work provision in which
employees have the ability to work whenever and wherever they choose, using
engineering applications and other tools to collaborate and communicate with colleagues andclients. In an on-demandworkplace, employees have the freedom to work from home, a co-working space, or anyother location that allows them to be cultivable. They are often able to set their own schedules and work at times that are favorable for them.
Employers can benefitfrom the on-demand workplace model by reduction in overhead costs associated with holding out a traditionaloffice space and by having access to a larger pool of talented employees who may not be able to work in a traditional office environment.
However, the on-demandworkplace model can also object in terms of maintaining effectivecommunication and collaboration among team members who may be working remotely.
It requires a strong emphasis on communication tools and processes to ensure
